General Accountant

You are a driven and motivated self-starter who wants to contribute directly to the success of an organization. As a company on the leading edge of telephone technologies for small business, Talkswitch has a position for you on the finance team.

Responsibilities

You will be required to contribute to all areas of accounting. You will be called upon to assist in month-end procedures including financial statement preparation, balance sheet account reconciliations and departmental variance analysis. Ideally, you will have had previous experience as the prime contact for accounts receivable and understand the A/R cycle and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in accounts receivable
• Highly motivated and organized
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent theoretical knowledge of accounting
• The ideal candidate will have a college or university degree in accounting and will be working towards an accounting designation
• Experience in Accpac an asset.
