Marketing Communications Manager


Channel Marketing & Communications Manager

Reporting to the Vice President Marketing, the Channel & Marketing Communications Manager will manage a variety of projects that support the marketing function, including end user and channel communications, corporate communications and programs/projects to increase awareness of TalkSwitch products and services.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement creative marketing ideas for all forms of communication
  • Lead and manage the development of channel and end user offline and online marketing vehicles
  • Support communication projects in the areas of advertising and channel marketing programs, trade shows and seminars, including Internet-based communications
  • Working with the Creative Services and Public Relations Managers, create compelling content, collateral, and campaigns for print and online, including case studies, sales tools, product sheets and brochures
  • Work with Sales and Product Management to create and deliver materials for customer presentations, sales and technical training webinars
  • Work with the Creative Team to write, edit and drive highly effective customer-focused marketing messages to be used in all communications
  • Work with Business Development to manage strategic partnership co-marketing programs
  • Work with Sales to manage channel program and content on secure reseller portal
  • Other duties, responsibilities, projects, etc. as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • A creative and innovative mind generating new ideas
  • Strong tactical skills including editing and proofreading
  • Excellent communication, project management and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Solid understanding of web marketing strategies
  • Excellent understanding of general business principles

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Public Relations
  • Minimum 2 years marketing communications experience in a technology-focused industry
  • A minimum of 2 years of Internet industry/Internet marketing or e-commerce experience
  • Proven ability to successfully plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns
