Technical Support Specialist

You are an experienced Technical Support Specialist who knows how to work with our customers in a professional manner. You have strong technical troubleshooting skills, an in-depth knowledge of networking and the patience of a saint . Your duties include product software troubleshooting, merchandise returns, warranty exchanges, sales support and product verification. You are available to work flexible hours between 8:00 am – 8:00 pm weekdays. You’re keen to provide support to clients for world class products designed and built right here by other members of your team.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a broadband or telecommunications company providing telephone support to customers and partners
  • In-depth knowledge of XP/2000 and server platforms
  • Good working knowledge of IP protocol suite
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and equipment
  • Strong oral and written fluency in English. French or Spanish language skills are an asset
  • Previous experience in the telecommunications industry is an asset
  • College or IT diploma in a related field.
