Download and Installation Instructions

The Attendant Console application is composed of 2 components: The Attendant Console Server application and the Attendant Console Client.

Only one instance of the Attendant Console Server is required for connection to the TalkSwitch system and supports all clients in a single location. The Server component can be installed on any computer with access to the TalkSwitch system. It is strongly recommended that the Server application be installed on a computer that runs continuously, as the clients depend on information provided by the Server.

The Attendant Console Client can be installed on any computer connected to the same network (LAN or WAN) as the computer running the Attendant Console Server application. The Client application is suitable for anyone with an extension on the TalkSwitch system that needs to monitor and/or control calls directly from their PC.

Step 1: Ensure you have updated your TalkSwitch 48-CA, 48-CVA or VS system to Release 4.10.
If you are using a TalkSwitch 48-NLS or TalkSwitch 24 model, DO NOT install this software as it is not compatible with those models.
